Inactivation Conditions:
Heat inactivation at 60C for 15 min or phenol treatment followed by ethanol precipitation.
Storage Conditions:
10mM Tris-HCl (pH 8.0), 200mM KCl, 0.1mM EDTA, 1.0mM DTT, 0.01% BSA, 50% glycerol.

Unit Definition:
One unit is defined as the amount of enzyme required to digest 1 g of lambda DNA completely in 50 l of the reaction mixture at 37C for 1 hour.

Ligation-Redigestion:
After 10-fold over digestion with this enzyme, the DNA fragments are ligated with T4 DNA Ligase and re-digested with this enzyme.
