Description Reacts with an early protein. Can detect CMV infection 3 hours post-infection exhibiting an intranuclear inclusion staining which reaches peak intensity between 6-24 hours. These antibodies show extremely intense coarsely granular staining. No other nuclear staining or cytoplasmic staining can be observed.
