Preparation Note: Sodium iodide extracted fraction of Nakao, et al., Biochem. Biophys. Res. Commun., 19, 755 (1965).
Unit Definition: One unit will liberate 1.0 mole of inorganic phosphorus from ATP per min at pH 7.4 at 37 C in the presence of Na+, K+ and Mg2+.
