uBiome Appoints Kathie Swift, MS, RDN, FAND, Co-founder of the Integrative and Functional Nutrition Academy, to its Scientific Advisory Board

uBiome, the leader in microbial genomics, announces the addition of Ms. Kathie Swift, MS, RDN, cofounder of the Integrative and Functional Nutrition Academy and education director of Food As Medicine at the Center for Mind Body Medicine, to its Scientific Advisory Board. Joining the board of leading scientists and doctors from around the world, Ms. Swift will bring to uBiome her experience with managing gastrointestinal disorders like celiac disease, irritable bowel syndrome, small intestinal bacterial overgrowth, Crohn’s disease, and ulcerative colitis with functional nutrition therapies. The appointment will help uBiome continue its advancement in human microbiome research.

Ms. Swift has directed nutrition programs at Dr. Mark Hyman’s UltraWellness Center, Canyon Ranch Health Resorts, and Kripalu Center for Yoga and Health and she is cofounder of the Integrative and Functional Nutrition Academy (IFNA). Ms. Swift is the author of two books on digestive healing: “The Inside Tract: Your Good Gut Guide to Great Digestive Health” with Gerard Mullin, MD, and “The Swift Diet” with Joseph Hooper.
