uBiome Appoints Dr. Donnica Moore, MD, Women's Health Expert and Advocate, to its Medical Advisory Board

uBiome, the leader in microbial genomics, announces the addition of Dr. Donnica Moore, MD, President of Sapphire Women’s Health Group and prominent women’s health expert, to its Medical Advisory Board. Joining the board of leading scientists and doctors from around the world, Dr. Moore will bring to uBiome her expertise on women’s health including risk factors for chronic and common conditions. The appointment will help uBiome continue its advancement in human microbiome research.

Dr. Moore earned her medical degree from the State University of New York at Buffalo School of Medicine. She undertook residency training in obstetrics and gynecology at Temple University Hospital and in family medicine at Memorial Hospital of Burlington County (NJ). Dr. Moore currently hosts the podcast “In the Ladies’ Room with Dr. Donnica,” and she is the author of “Women's Health for Life.” Previously, Dr. Moore served as a women's health contributor for NBC's Later Today, appearing weekly from 1999-2000 and covering diverse women's health issues. Dr. Donnica has appeared on more than 875 television interviews including ABC’s Good Morning America, ABC's The View, The Today Show, The Dr. Oz Show, and NBC's Weekend Today Show. She has also hosted a nationally syndicated radio spot, “Dr. Donnica's Women's Health Report.” Honors include being named One of the Most Influential Forces in Healthcare Information Technology (2000) from Advance for Healthcare Technology magazine, Top 25 Leading Women Entrepreneurs (2017) from Leading Women Entrepreneurs, and Award for Excellence in Alumni Education from Princeton University (2013), among others.
