Former Sequiam China to provide continuing services to company

JERICHO, N.Y. and GUANGZHOU, China, May 19 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- bioMETRX (OTC Bulletin Board: BMRX) and SKI Engineering, jointly announced that they have formed a strategic business alliance that will provide bioMETRX increased engineering and manufacturing capabilities.

"I'm extremely excited about our strategic business alliance with SKI Engineering," said Mark Basile, CEO of bioMETRX. "The former Sequiam East's engineering team has dedicated numerous years of research & development to biometric products that work in a small footprint, utilizing a nominal power supply, with minimal processing capability and with little to no memory environment. bioMETRX has been able to immediately leverage SKI's engineering skills increasing our company's leadership among OEM's in integrating biometric technology into their products."

"The bioMETRX team has done a phenomenal job of establishing robust business relationships with globally recognized and trusted OEM clients," said Edward Chen, CEO of SKI Engineering. "I look forward to working with this group of seasoned managers over the coming months and am convinced their capabilities will allow bioMETRX to emerge in the OEM-consumer focused segment of the identity management market the way L1-Identity Solutions has in the government space."

"SKI Engineering has been left with an enormous inventory surplus of bioVAULTS and bioBOX's due to the Sequiam bankruptcy. We have purchased a significant amount of that inventory, and we are working with our partners and distributors to place the balance," noted Cliff Zsvec, V.P. of Global Logistics at bioMETRX. "Those former Sequiam products are being rebranded smartTOUCH(TM) as we speak. The company has also sold and delivered over $30,000 worth of bioVAULTS and bioBOX's from our California warehouse facilities into our channels over the last two weeks. We will be stepping up our marketing efforts for these and our other smartTOUCH(TM) products over the next several weeks," continued Mr. Zsvec.

Research conducted by Frost & Sullivan estimates that this niche of the identity management market will generate approximately $105 million in 2008, growing to over $689 million in revenue by 2011.
