Wiley-Blackwell and the AAB launch new Wiley open access journal, Food and Energy Security

n Parry has agreed to be the Editor-in-Chief. He is a distinguished scientist at Rothamsted Research, Head of Plant Science and also an experienced editor, having been Editor-in-Chief at Annals for 8 years. We share his commitment to make FES a top-ranking journal."

Liz Ferguson, Publisher at Wiley-Blackwell for Food and Energy Security commented: "Wiley Open Access offers societies and learned organisations the opportunity to engage with open access. Food and Energy Security is one of the first society partner journals to be developed within this program and we are delighted to publish this innovative new journal jointly with our existing partner, the Association of Applied Biologists."

The journal is open to submissions now and aims to publish its first content online in January 2012.
