Web-Hosted Attendance on Demand(R) Introduces Innovative Web Time Clock
Date:1/17/2008

FARMINGTON HILLS, Mich., Jan 17 /PRNewswire/ -- Attendance on Demand web-hosted employee time and attendance service announces the immediate availability of the HP WebNet employee time clock. The unique data collection device is Internet-ready, instantly pushing employee time and labor data directly to the web hosted employee time tracking system Attendance on Demand. There is no software to install or complex set-up needed.

The HP WebNet, available exclusively from Attendance on Demand, extends the capabilities of the popular HandPunch biometric time clock from IR Recognition Systems. Biometric time recorders reduce the incidents of time theft and buddy punching by matching the employee with a template of their hand. The HP WebNet combines this widely used biometric time recorder with internet-ready capabilities and additional features.

Notes Chris Ciapala, President Attendance on Demand, Inc., "The HP WebNet provides businesses with extensive features of a high-end model without the high price tag. Features that previously were unavailable or required labor intensive implementations are available with this cost effective unit."

With the HP WebNet, users press a key to access advanced features, now available for all HandPunch time clocks models, including last punch information; current and previous period hours; summaries by pay designation; schedules; and benefit balances.

Adds Ciapala, "Today's businesses cannot expose their information to the security risks created by traditional time recorders. With this unique innovation exclusively offered by Attendance on Demand, companies are protected from uninvited network access."

Attendance on Demand is delivered over highly secure networks on a subscription basis -- speeding implementation, minimizing expenses and risks, and overcoming the significant costs and chronic shortage of qualified personnel available in-house.
