WCC Announces Version 6 of its ELISE Smart Search and Match Platform for Employment and Biometric Matching
Date:12/16/2008

UTRECHT, The Netherlands, December 15 /PRNewswire/ -- WCC Services, the leading provider of smart search and match technologies, today announced that version 6 of its flagship product, ELISE, is now available. In today's challenging economic times, companies may receive hundreds of applicants for each job opening making it difficult to find the right person for the job. Security concerns are also at peak levels, requiring many organizations to quickly combine multiple biometric data points in a single search to accurately verify a person's identity. The latest version of ELISE addresses both of these customer needs and was designed to be easier to integrate, administer and customize without sacrificing performance or speed.

"Version 6 of ELISE was developed in direct response to our customers needs today," said Peter Went, CEO of WCC Services. "ELISE 6 maintains the high-performance standards our customers have come to expect, but is also faster, easier and more cost-efficient so that organizations can quickly integrate it with their current systems and customize its modules to better fit their specific matching requirements."

Faster and More Cost-Effective

ELISE 6 has been redesigned to enhance overall performance and give it a smaller footprint. This improved design reduces hardware costs without sacrificing speed. ELISE 6 can now run natively as either 32-bit or 64-bit, thus making full use of the latest advancements in CPU architecture.

Easier to Integrate

The ELISE matching API has been revised to ease legacy database integration along with the implementation of advanced matching solutions to make set-up faster and easier. In addition, WCC has extended ELISE's functionality with several new features, including:

    - Contextual navigation and sorting of the result set using any number of
      properties
