Date:9/16/2014

RALEIGH, N.C., Sept. 16, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- Valencell, Inc., a leader in performance biometric data sensor technology, has been chosen as one of 18 "Showcase Companies" representing North Carolina's hottest emerging technology businesses at the annual CED Tech Venture Conference on September 16-17th at the Raleigh Convention Center in Raleigh, North Carolina. Valencell's President Dr. Steven LeBoeuf will lead a discussion during the "Digital Health Spotlight Sector" on how the Company's internationally respected biometric technology, Valencell PerformTek, powers wearables with highly accurate, continuous heart rate monitoring during even the most aggressive physical exercise.

Showcase companies are given six minutes to tell their story in front of 600 attendees at a conference that has become a "Who's Who" of the nation's technology industry, from the most exciting emerging tech companies to the most influential investors and tech leaders. Dr. LeBoeuf will discuss biometric wearable technology and how this technology is fueling a myriad of new products in various form factors.
