The 3rd BGI Bioinformatics Software and Data Release Conference

The 3rd BGI Bioinformatics Software and Data Release Conference will be held on November 28, 2012 at ICG-7 & Bio-IT APAC 2012. At this event, BGI will provide detailed information on their latest "EasyGenomic" Cloud-based Solution, flexible computing, as well as other bioinformatics applications and pipelines, including SOAPdenovo2, SOAPhecate and SOAPgaea, among others. These state-of-the-art software programs and informatics processes will allow a wide range of bioinformatics analyses to be more efficient and reliable. Also at this conference, the journal GigaScience will announce its new look GigaDB database and data platform integration.

Conference Venue: The 3rd BGI Bioinformatics Software and Data Release Conference will take place at the The Kowloon Shangri-La Hotel, which is located at the heart of the renowned shopping and entertainment district of Kowloon, close to all major public transportation routes. As one of the quintessential Kowloon hotels in Hong Kong, Kowloon Shangri-La offers guests some of the most spacious rooms in the city, with floor-to-ceiling bay windows affording panoramic views of the harbour and Hong Kong Island skyline.
