TREW Marketing Webcast Shows B2B Companies How to Reach Technical Audiences
Date:7/18/2012

AUSTIN, Texas, July 18, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- TREW Marketing today announced a new, free webcast discussing how engineers and professionals in B2B technology industries get information and use different media sources. Data for the webcast comes from a recent survey targeting engineers, scientists, and technologists, and addresses marketing media topics ranging from web search habits to use of industry publications and social media.

TREW Marketing, a full-service marketing firm serving B2B technology companies, surveyed more than 100 engineers and professionals in the B2B technology market to gain insight on marketing to technical audiences, media choices, news, the latest communication platforms and industry trends. The agency found that more than 50 percent of technical companies plan to increase marketing budgets in the next 1 to 3 years, and the new webcast gives insight as to how these companies can best maximize their marketing spending to reach a technical audience.

"Engineers and B2B professionals use a variety of constantly evolving media sources to seek technical information," said Wendy Covey, Co-Founder and Principal, TREW Marketing. "With the results of this survey, we provide conclusions that help B2B companies reach their audiences with the most effective marketing activities."

In the webcast, TREW Marketing shares information about respondents' use of web sites to gather information, search habits, and social media preferences. The webcast, along with a downloadable white paper on the topic, is freely available on demand and has three parts:

  • Part 1: How Engineers Stay Informed
  • Part 2: Search Marketing for Engineers
  • Part 3: Social Media – Relevant or Not?
