OAG Flights2Go available for business travelers

MENLO PARK, Calif., Sept. 10 /PRNewswire/ -- Promptu, a leading innovator of voice-powered mobile applications, and OAG (Official Airline Guide), a leading supplier of flight schedule and status information to the airline industry, announced today they have signed an agreement to provide mobile applications and services containing OAG flight schedule and status data to the airline industry. Details of the agreement were not released, although the companies revealed that their first public product, a WAP site (an internet site formatted specifically for mobile devices) is available to Verizon subscribers for $2.99 per month. The OAG Flights2Go service is also available on a subscription basis directly from OAG. Go to http://www.oag.com.

"This is the first of hopefully several engagements with OAG," stated John Lynch, Vice President at Promptu. "OAG has been the leading supplier of up-to-date flight information to the airline industry for decades, and we believe mobile devices are a perfect medium for business travelers to access this valuable asset. We have started with the WAP site, and intend to bring best-of-breed design to Java(TM) clients that will similarly take advantage of OAG's data."

"Promptu has been a great partner to work with on this effort," stated David Rosen, Managing Director of OAG Travel Solutions. "They have created a compelling solution with our data that serves a growing and important market, and we think there are many opportunities within the mobile space to serve the business traveler who needs instant access to flight information when on the move."

The current premium WAP site is also being targeted to airline employees who frequently commute for both business and pleasure. Because airline employees often take advantage of courtesy agreements that allow them to use airlines other than their own, having
