Numera and HealthTrio LLC Form Partnership to Provide Objective Health Information for Millions of Consumers
Date:6/14/2011

SUNNYVALE, Calif., June 14, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- Numera, a leading provider of innovative telehealth technologies and services, today announced it has entered into a strategic partnership with HealthTrio LLC.  The alliance provides HealthTrio customers the ability to integrate objective, biometric information from dozens of consumer-preferred health monitoring devices directly into the HealthTrio Personal Health Record (PHR). This new functionality will be available to over 12 million current HealthTrio PHR subscribers as an upgrade, and to new customers as a simple configuration at the time of installation.

Under the partnership agreement, HealthTrio will integrate Numera|ENGAGE analytic software into the HealthTrio PHR.  When a HealthTrio customer has a need to gather measured health information, Numera|ENGAGE services will be provided by Numera to deploy measurement equipment, communication hubs, and training to program managers.

"Our Numera|NET products and Numera|ENGAGE services were specifically designed to affordably engage large populations at the scale HealthTrio requires for their PHR offering," noted Numera CEO, Tim Smokoff.  "Populations not traditionally served by remote monitoring programs due to the expense of implementing a system, acquiring specialized monitoring devices, and deploying expensive data transmission hubs are now easily accommodated through our joint solution.  By integrating Numera|NET and Numera|ENGAGE services into HealthTrio applications, health providers, insurance companies, and other HealthTrio customers can be 'remote ready' as these programs continue to explode in size and popularity," he noted.

"HealthTrio's mission is to actively engage consumers with managing their health in collaboration with care providers and coaches. By adding Numera's user-friendly telehealth functionality to our platform, we exponentially enhance our value to both customers and end-users," said Dr.  Ma
