Recent highlights include collaborative studies establishing a new role of protein kinase C-q in FoxP3+ regulatory T cells and determination of pathogenic mechanisms in viral meningitis. He was promoted to Professor in 2006. Dr. Dustin received a Presidential Early Careers Award in Science and Engineering, a Merit award from the National Institutes of Health, and is a fellow of the American Association for the Advancement of Sciences.
