More than 850 abstracts received, record attendance expected at major bone congress
Date:2/19/2013

The International Osteoporosis Foundation (IOF) and ESCEO have announced that a record number of abstracts (850+) have been submitted to the European Congress on Osteoporosis & Osteoarthritis (ESCEO13-IOF) and the 3rd IOF-ESCEO Pre-Clinical Symposium.

Projections also indicate a record number of delegates, making the ESCEO13-IOF Congress a 'must-attend' forum for both clinical and translational research in the field, as well the world's largest and most vibrant educational bone event.

Hotel accommodation in Rome is in high demand. The organizers recommend early registration to ensure the accommodation of your choice.

Register and reserve your hotel accommodation at http://www.ecceo13-iof.org/register

The Scientific Committee, chaired by Professors Cyrus Cooper (IOF) and Ren Rizzoli (ESCEO), has set up a high-quality programme featuring a faculty of leading international bone experts and numerous thematic symposia to enhance the plenary sessions.

Researchers with an interest in translational bone research may also benefit from the 3rd IOF-ESCEO Pre-Clinical Symposium (free for ESCEO13-IOF delegates or only 150 EUR for Symposium alone). The Symposium will feature lectures by leading international investigators. View the programme at http://www.ecceo13-iof.org/pre-clinical-symposium

IOF and ESCEO look forward to welcoming clinicians and researchers from many areas of specialization including rheumatology, endocrinology, orthopaedics, gerontology, imaging, and other fields concerned with osteoporosis and osteoarthritis.
