Louisiana Tech University students receive NSF Graduate Research Fellowships
Date:4/12/2011

ds. The program seeks to ensure the vitality and diversity of the scientific and engineering workforce in the U.S. The ranks of NSF Fellows include individuals who have made transformative breakthroughs in science and engineering research and have become leaders in their chosen fields and Nobel laureates.

"I have reviewed for this program for the last four years and can tell you that it is an intensely competitive process," said Dr. Jenna Carpenter, associate dean for administration and strategic initiatives in Louisiana Tech's College of Engineering and Science. "These are very prestigious awards. They receive over 10,000 applications and only award about 3,000."
