El proyecto humanitario es financiado en parte por Repsol, una petrolera española que donó al gobierno a través de su fundación $2,5 millones en 2012 para ayudar a establecer un laboratorio de vanguardia que se utilizará para identificar y generar perfiles de restos humanos y referencias de parientes asociados de personas desaparecidas.
