Life Technologies ayudará a identificar 20.000 restos humanos encontrados en fosas comunes en Libia

ocesarán utilizando la química PrepFiler® BTA optimizada para aislar el ADN de huesos y dientes en combinación con AmpFlSTR® NGM SElect™ PCR Amplification Kit y MiniFiler™ Kit, diseñados para muestras severamente degradadas. Las muestras de referencias se procesarán utilizando la tecnología de amplificación directa que combina NUCLEIC-CARD™ de Copan con NGM SElect™ Express.

El laboratorio utilizará la última generación de analizadores genéticos y equipo auxiliar y será validado funcionalmente en virtud de las pautas y los directrices sobre garantía de seguridad requerida por ASCLAD-LAB, SWGDAM e ISO 17025. Parte del entrenamiento se llevará a cabo en los Estados Unidos bajo la dirección y supervisión del Dr. Arthur Eisenberg, un médico forense de renombre internacional, previo a la apertura del laboratorio en Trípoli.
