Life Technologies ayudará a identificar 20.000 restos humanos encontrados en fosas comunes en Libia

GLASGOW, Escocia, 30 de enero de 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- Life Technologies Corporation (NASDAQ: LIFE) hoy anunció que proveerá una solución de laboratorio íntegra para identificar unos 20.000 restos humanos encontrados en varias fosas comunes en Libia a raíz de la insurrección de 2011 y para abordar los casos de personas desaparecidas durante el régimen de 42 años de Muammar Gaddafi. Se prevé que la identificación tome varios años.

Life Technologies, líder en tecnologías forenses de ADN, preparará la infraestructura, incluyendo los conocimientos técnicos, la capacitación, y los instrumentos y materiales forenses para evaluar el flujo de trabajo y procesar las muestras de ADN a través de su distribuidor en Dubái, Integrated Gulf Biosystems (IGB).
