Leading Healthcare Solutions Provider Integrates Award-Winning Fingerprint

Recognition Solution for HIPAA Compliance, Patient Security, and

Operational Efficiencies

ATLANTA, Jan. 22 /PRNewswire/ -- M2SYS Technology, an award-winning biometric fingerprint technology firm, announced today that LOGICARE Corporation has enhanced its OnRecord(TM) healthcare solution for emergency departments and patient educators by integrating M2SYS' Bio-Plugin(TM) fingerprint software. The biometric module is now available to LOGICARE's growing customer base for OnRecord(TM) solutions throughout the United States.

"LOGICARE is using Bio-Plugin(TM) as a part of its vision to help patients maintain their right to privacy and to help our customers conform to HIPAA security regulations," noted Dan McCune, a LOGICARE technical business analyst who is part of the company's product planning efforts. "Bio-Plugin(TM) not only enhances the security of our solutions but also makes it easier for busy users in the Emergency Department to quickly access the data they need to organize and document care. Selecting M2SYS' innovative Bio-Plugin(TM) technology has enabled us to deliver this important feature more rapidly than if we had used a fingerprint SDK. Bio-Plugin(TM) also simplifies our support."

Bio-Plugin(TM) enables software companies to rapidly integrate an enterprise-ready, seamless fingerprint recognition system, including a high-performance 1:N identification engine. Bio-Plugin(TM) eliminates the system dependencies, extensive development, and specialized knowledge of biometric complexities that are inherent to fingerprint SDKs. This enables software companies to remain focused on their core products, while adding a new revenue channel and more value to their customers with an integrated fingerprint authentication module.
