New Sales Executives to Focus on Top 100 Internet Retailers

BOISE, Idaho, Oct. 2 /PRNewswire/ -- Kount Inc. (http://www.kount.com), a leading provider of fraud control for ecommerce merchants, has hired industry veterans Scott Lewer and Brad Canavan as National Account Sales directors. Together, they bring Kount customers an unprecedented amount of industry knowledge and experience in ecommerce fraud control and online payments.

Scott Lewer is former general manager and executive vice president at Retail Decisions, Inc. and former vice president of Global Merchant Acquiring at First Data International. He has a long history of fraud control and prevention management, having also worked at Fifth Third Bank, First Data Corporation and American Express. Lewer has a bachelor's degree in psychology and business economics from UCLA.

Brad Canavan comes to Kount from iovation where he was director of Business Development. Previously, he managed Channel and Business Development for Clearswift, a leading provider of online content security and data loss prevention. With more than 18 years of sales, management and marketing experience, Canavan also served as director of Business and Channel Development at Fiberlink and director of Business Development for U.S.Marketer.com. He has a bachelor's degree in marketing from Boston College.
