New Rochelle, NY, April 7, 2008 The American Medical Womens Association (AMWA), an organization devoted to the advancement of women in medicine and the improvement of women's health, has named Journal of Womens Health (http://www.liebertpub.com/jwh) as its official journal. Journal of Womens Health is a peer-reviewed journal published by Mary Ann Liebert, Inc (http://www.liebertpub.com).

We are proud to announce our affiliation with Journal of Womens Health, says Claudia S. Morrissey, MD, MPH, President of AMWA (www.amwa-doc.org). Journal of Womens Health is a natural fit for AMWA and serves our ever-widening community.

"We are very pleased that AMWA has selected JWH as its official journal, and we welcome the contributions of AMWA members," says Susan G. Kornstein, MD, Editor-in-Chief and Executive Director of the Virginia Commonwealth University Institute for Womens Health, in Richmond, VA.
