Hamamatsu to Distribute Energetiq’s LDLS™ Products

Energetiq Technology, a world leader in high brightness light sources for advanced technology applications, is pleased to announce that starting on October 1, 2018 Hamamatsu will distribute the company’s Laser-Driven Light Sources around the globe. Hamamatsu acquired Energetiq in October 2017.

“We have been working steadfastly since our acquisition to integrate with Hamamatsu and familiarize their many sales and marketing engineers worldwide with our technology”, said Debbie Gustafson, CEO of Energetiq Technology. “We are proud of the reputation of the Energetiq brand and look forward to working with the Hamamatsu sales team to extend our reach to new customers and new markets.”

“We believe Energetiq’s Laser-Driven Light Sources add exciting new capabilities to our outstanding portfolio of light source products which now cover from x-ray to infrared,” said Naofumi Toriyama, Hamamatsu Board Member and Chairman, Energetiq Board. “Following extensive training of the Hamamatsu sales, marketing and applications team, our staff is ready to support both existing Energetiq customers and to introduce Energetiq’s products to Hamamatsu’s customers.”

This increased global presence in each region supported by Hamamatsu will enable enhanced customer support. The manufacturing and service processes will continue to be operated at Energetiq’s headquarters in Woburn, MA, USA.

Sales of Energetiq’s Electrodeless Z-Pinch™ Extreme UV sources will continue to be handled by Energetiq.
