er kann mithilfe einer kostenlosen App lokalisiert werden, die über Real-Time-Tracking, Safe Zones und Augmented Reality verfügt. Die App erlaubt auch die unbegrenzte und zeitgeschaltete Einrichtung von Safe Zones. So kann beispielsweise eine Safe Zone eingerichtet werden während ein Kind in der Schule ist und eine andere Zone wenn es im Park ist. Die App bietet auch anderen Personen zu bestimmten Zeiten Zugang zum Trax GPS-Tracker, beispielsweise während ein Hund mit einem Hundesitter Gassi geht oder ein Kindermädchen auf ein Kind aufpasst.

Preisgestaltung und Verfügbarkeit

WTS hat sich mit Telenor Connexion zusammengetan, um den Trax GPS-Tracker in 2013 in über 30 Ländern anbieten zu können, u.a. in Großbritannien, Frankreich, Deutschland, Spanien, den Benelux-Ländern und Skandinavien. In 2014 wird Trax in weiteren Ländern eingeführt. Trax kostet 199 €, einschließlich zwei Jahre Datenverkehr und kostenlosem Roaming in über 30 Ländern. In einigen europäischen Ländern können sich Onlinekunden auch für ein Abonnement entscheiden, das im Rahmen eines zweijährigen Vertrages monatlich 6,49 € kostet, und bei dem keine einmaligen Einrichtungskosten anfallen.

Der Trax-GPS-Tracker ist ab Dezember lieferbar, und die Trax-App wird im App Store und bei Google Play erhältlich sein. Apps für das Windows Phone und Tablets werden derzeit entwickelt.
