Gregory Downey, M.D., of National Jewish Health, honored for scientific accomplishments

rsity of Toronto, where he remained for nearly 20 years. In 2006 he left his position as Vice-Chair of Medicine there and returned to National Jewish Health, where he has continued his research and been instrumental in developing programs in personalized medicine.

He is a member of the American Thoracic Society, the American Society for Clinical Investigation, the American College of Chest Physicians, the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada, and is an Associate Editor for the American Journal of Respiratory Cell and Molecular Biology.
