FS88 is ready to work on popular operating systems as well as handheld devices because Futronic provides Application Programming Interface (API) for FS88 to capture fingerprint image on Windows 2000/XP, Vista 32/64 bit, Windows CE 5.0/6.0 and Linux with kernel 2.4 or after. After fingerprint image is captured, it can be processed, transferred, stored and/or matched with pre- stored data by any backend software that makes project implementation very flexible.
