"Many of our customers, who have come to appreciate the performance and outstanding quality of the Fujitsu 10GbE Switch products, have also inquired about utilizing similar Fujitsu solutions in their 1Gb networks," said Jim Preasmyer, director of sales and business development, Advanced Technology Group, Fujitsu Computer Products of America, Inc. "The Fujitsu 24-port and 48-port Switches provide a consolidated product offering that gives customers a low-cost upgrade path to full 10Gb networking combined with the Fujitsu brand name they have come to trust.

The XG0224 and XG0448 will feature auto sensing 10/100/1000 Base-T with 4 ports of SFP optics and open slots for 1 or 2 dual port 10GbE uplink cards, depending upon the model. The low-power, 1U high form factor allows for easy integration into existing networks and system chassis while also providing an easy upgrade path for customers.
