Director of National Intelligence to Speak at Conference

WASHINGTON, Sept. 12 /PRNewswire/ -- J. Michael McConnell, Director of National Intelligence and James R. Clapper, Jr., Under Secretary of Defense for Intelligence will provide valuable insights into the intelligence challenges of the future, and the vision for implementing the United States Intelligence Community 100 Day Plan for INTEGRATION and COLLABORATION.

About the Conference:

The Office of the Director of National Intelligence and the National Defense Intelligence College will host the Intelligence Strategy: New Challenges and Opportunities conference on September 26 and 27 to discuss the transformation and challenges in the Intelligence Community. The goal of this conference is to provide a venue to discuss the way ahead for the national intelligence strategy.

The conference will feature a variety of panel discussions including accomplishments of the Intelligence Community under intelligence reform, what today's global events mean for intelligence, where we are on the track to collaboration, and how we are pushing through the barriers to complete transformation. Demonstrations of the latest developments in intelligence technologies will coincide with these topics.
