Adjusted EBITDA

L-1 uses Adjusted EBITDA as a non-GAAP financial performance measurement. Adjusted EBITDA is calculated by adding back to net income (loss) interest, income taxes, depreciation, amortization, impairments of long term assets and stock-based compensation expense.
