The 8th Annual Genomics of Energy and Environment Meeting of the U.S. Department of Energy Joint Genome Institute (DOE JGI) will be held at the Marriott in Walnut Creek on March 26-28, 2013. Keynote speeches will be delivered by Eric Karsenti of European Molecular Biology Laboratory on "TARA OCEANS: A global analysis of oceanic plankton ecosystems" and Chris Voigt of MIT on "Part mining for synthetic biology."
