ClinOps Announces Appointment of New President and CEO

SAN FRANCISCO, Oct. 25 /PRNewswire/ -- ClinOps, LLC (formerly Pacific Data Designs) today announced that David Herron has been appointed to the organization as president and chief executive officer.  In addition, David has been named to ClinOps' Board of Directors.  

"David is well equipped to lead this company into the next phase of its maturity.  His global sales experience, business relationships and operational leadership are fundamentally important to ClinOps growth over the next five years.  David brings tremendous knowledge of professional and technical healthcare services with extensive emphasis on clients, quality and operations," said ClinOps Chairman, Rod Boone.  "David is a proven executive, focused on driving business results."

Prior to joining ClinOps, Mr. Herron held a number of leadership positions at SYNARC, the world's largest central imaging lab, most recently as Chief Operating Officer.  Mr. Herron has also held senior management positions at Webify Solutions (acquired by IBM), Vitria Technology and Health Net.  He is a seventeen-year veteran of the US military serving in the US Marine Corps and as an Adjutant General and Logistics Officer.  He was thrice decorated during Operations Desert Shield & Storm.  He is a distinguished graduate of Lipscomb and Vanderbilt universities.
