'Career Planning for Research Bioscientists'

'Career Planning for Research Bioscientists' is a newly published careers book written specifically for doctoral students and postdoctoral researchers. The book contains essential information about the job market, how to increase self-awareness and enhance employability, and offers advice on improving CV writing and interview technique. Individual case studies chart the careers of PhD-qualified biologists who have forged successful careers within and outside of academia. It concludes with a list of useful resources and further reading.

Tha author is a qualified careers professional working for the Society for Experimental Biology, an international learned society. With over 10 years' experience in the business of career development and a background in scientific research, she is uniquely placed to provide advice and information to researchers.
