CDS Monarch Deploys DigitalPersona Strong Authentication Solutions for Secure Access to Electronic Medical Records

REDWOOD CITY, Calif., May 22, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- DigitalPersona, Inc., a global provider of multi-factor authentication and access management solutions, today announced CDS Monarch has deployed DigitalPersona® Pro Enterprise software and U.are.U® Fingerprint Keyboards to provide secure access to electronic medical records. With DigitalPersona solutions, CDS Monarch is now able to more accurately track access to clinical software as employees utilize a variety of machines on their network, serving individuals at 35 sites. The DigitalPersona deployment has also helped drive down IT helpdesk costs from password resets.

CDS Monarch is a world-class non-profit human services organization currently serving 1,700 individuals throughout New York with more than 600 employees. CDS Monarch deployed DigitalPersona solutions to control access to IT systems and information, while allowing quick login for personnel. DigitalPersona Pro software and U.are.U Fingerprint Keyboards enable employees to log in to the network and access Cerner's CareTracker®, eVero's digitalAGENCY™, ADP's Time and Attendance and ADP's HR & Benefits software. With network roaming profiles offered by DigitalPersona Pro, CDS Monarch employees can also effortlessly access the information they need on multiple computers throughout the network.
