Biopharmaceutical Cold Chain Engineering Firm Modality Solutions Makes Inc. 5000 List of America’s Fastest-Growing Companies
Date:9/25/2019

Modality Solutions, a biopharmaceutical cold chain engineering firm, is pleased to announce it ranked No. 3094 on Inc. Magazine’s annual Inc. 5000 list, the most prestigious ranking of the nation’s fastest-growing private companies. Modality Solutions reported three-year revenue growth of 120 percent. Based on this growth, the Houston-based firm also ranked No. 47 in its industry category of top engineering companies.

Founded in 2011 by Gary Hutchinson and Daniel J. Littlefield, Modality Solutions is a global biopharmaceutical cold chain engineering firm with regulatory filing authorities, logistics network expertise, and process integration developers.

Started in 1982, the Inc. 5000 list has become the hallmark of entrepreneurial success. For 2019 companies were ranked according to percentage revenue growth when comparing 2015 and 2018. To qualify, companies had to be U.S.-based, privately held, for-profit, and independent and have been founded and generating revenue by March 31, 2015. The minimum revenue required for 2015 was $100,000; the minimum for 2018 was $2 million.

According to Inc., not only have the companies on this year’s Inc. 5000 been very competitive within their markets, but also the list shows staggering growth compared with prior lists. The 2019 Inc. 5000’s aggregate revenue was $237.7 billion in 2018, accounting for 1,216,308 jobs over the past three years.

“The companies on this year’s Inc. 5000 have followed so many different paths to success,” says Inc. editor in chief James Ledbetter. “There’s no single course you can follow, or investment you can take that will guarantee this kind of spectacular growth. But what they have in common is persistence and seizing opportunities.”

“Modality Solutions is pleased to gain recognition within the American economy’s most dynamic segment—its independent small businesses,” said President Gary Hutchinson. “Our primary goal is to continue to strive for excellence while we continue on our track of sustained growth. It’s great to join the ranks of companies like Microsoft, Dell, Pandora, Zillow, and many other well-known brands who gained their first national exposure as honorees on the Inc. 5000.”

In addition, in March 2019, Inc. Magazine editors independently reviewed the Modality Solutions corporate information to initiate its participation in the Inc. Verified Profile program. The editors independently reviewed the company to validate its website functionality and content, social media links, and phone lines to confirm Modality Solutions is fully operational. An Inc. Verified Profile is meant to save prospective clients time by showcasing businesses that are part of a respected ecosystem of global entrepreneurs verified by Inc.
