CEO to Speak on 'Empowering People & Commerce'

WALL, N.J., Sept. 23 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- BIO-key International, Inc. (OTC Bulletin Board: BKYI), a leader in finger-based biometric identification and wireless public safety, announced today that it will participate in the 2008 Biometric Technology Expo, to be held in conjunction with the Biometric Consortium Conference Consortium ("BCC") on September 23 - 25 at the Tampa Convention Center in Tampa, Florida. The company will showcase a number of its fingerprint biometric applications at the conference. Additionally, Michael DePasquale, BIO-key's President and CEO, will speak as part of the International Technology Innovations track on Tuesday, September 23, at 11:00 a.m. Eastern Time. Mr. DePasquale's presentation is titled "Empowering People and Commerce: Bangladeshi Voter Registration/National ID Program." The BCC is recognized as the leading global event addressing biometric-based solutions for homeland security, large-scale applications and biometric interoperability and performance standards.
