WALL, N.J., Sept. 10 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- BIO-key International, Inc. (OTC Bulletin Board: BKYI), a leader in finger-based biometric identification and wireless public safety, announced today that the company is showcasing a variety of deployed fingerprint biometric applications at the 2007 Biometric Technology Expo, being held in conjunction with the Biometric Consortium Conference Consortium on September 11th through the 13th at the Baltimore Convention Center in Baltimore, MD. BIO-key will provide hands-on demonstrations of its state-of-the-art identification technology as implemented in applications deployed worldwide in booth 419.

This event is recognized as the leading global venue that addresses biometric-based solutions for Homeland Security, large-scale applications and biometric interoperability and performance standards. Some of the deployed applications BIO-key will be demonstrating include: voter registration (civil election credentialing system from Tiger IT); healthcare (electronic health record software from Allscripts); education (identify(TM) school identification software suite from IdentiMetrics(TM)); retail (Point of Sale enabled terminal from Radiant Systems); and physical access (BioAxs keyless door entry solution from NextGen ID).
