Mr. Maletsky's talk focuses on the concerns surrounding biometric privacy and security in a network environment. Specifically, it addresses the effects of how the biometric system architecture and components affect the trust that networks and uses can place on the operation of the system. It further explores how the inclusion of a client hardware biometric co-processor can add both strong authentication and convenience in a network environment -- while maintaining the confidentiality of the users of and the confidence of the network provider. Mr. Maletsky brings over 12 years of security expertise and 27 years in the semiconductor industry to this presentation.
