Akadeum Launches Seven New Products at Immunology 2019 Conference in San Diego
Date:5/9/2019

Akadeum Life Sciences today announced at Immunology 2019 the introduction of its first suite of products based on its microbubble technology. Unlike magnetic-based products, microbubbles use buoyancy to gently separate cells of interest within the tube—they simply float to the surface. Feedback from customers who participated in an early access program has been very encouraging and has led to some early sales of the products.

“Our microbubble-based products are the next generation in cell isolation,” said Akadeum CEO Brandon McNaughton. “As there are no magnets or columns that generate magnetic fields, you achieve the gentlest of separations with reliable yields and high purity. Customers also save money by eliminating the need to purchase magnets and columns.”

Akadeum will have the microbubbles on display at booth 1502. Akadeum is also hosting numerous events at the conference including a podium presentation on Saturday, May 11th at 8:00am in room 30AB; a workshop on Sunday, May 12th at 11:15am in Hall F, Room 2; and poster #P1265 at the Technological Innovation II poster session.
