ASNTR 15th anniversary meeting to be held May 1-3 in Florida
Date:1/25/2008

D. Neurosciences presence is increasing, yet the funding climate requires attention for professional survival. This makes it too easy to lose touch if one does not get out of ones community for inspiration and education. For that reason, ASNTR remains my favorite professional destination of the year, with built-in time to enjoy the sand and water.

Travel fellowships and a short course in grantsmanship will be supported in part by NIH/NINDS, NIH/ORWH and PDF. Underrepresented minorities in science, including women and persons with disabilities, are encouraged to participate.

The deadline for conference pre-registration and hotel reservations is Apr. 3, 2008.
