Ribonuclease

Ribonucleases are enzymes that destroy mRNA.
Messenger RNA has noncoding nucleotides at either end of the molecule. These segments contain information about the number of times mRNA is transcribed before being destroyed by ribonucleases.

Ribonuclease P
All living things synthesize an enzyme - called Ribonuclease P - that cleaves the head (5') end of the precursors of transfer RNA (tRNA) molecules.
In bacteria, ribonuclease P is a heterodimer containing ...

Ribonucleic acid (RNA): A chemical found in the nucleus and cytoplasm of cells; it plays an important role in protein synthesis and other chemical activities of the cell. The structure of RNA is similar to that of DNA.
