Information:
Auscultation is a method used to "listen" to the sounds of the body during a physical examination. It is usually performed by listening through a stethoscope.

Auscultation (listening to the chest with a stethoscope) detects a heart murmur. Palpation (examination by hand) may show hyperdynamic (very forceful) beating of the heart.
