Endoderm[Gr. endon - within; Gr. derma - skin, leather] The innermost germ layer of the
embryo that develops during
gastrulation. It will form the lining of the respiratory and digestive
organs and their derivatives.
Full article >>>Endodermis is the bottom layer of skin.
In
plants, it is a thin layer of parenchyma found in
roots, just outside the vascular cylinder. It regulates the flow of water.
Full article >>>endoderm: one of three germ layers that develops into the gastrointestinal tract.
endoplasmic reticulum (ER): an
organelle comprised of a series of
membranes extending throughout the
cytoplasm; two types exist, rough and
smooth ER.
Full article >>>endodermis -- Literally "inner skin", this is a layer of
cells which surrounds the central core of vascular
tissue, and which helps to regulate the flow of water and dissolved substances.
Full article >>>endoderm The inner layer of
cells in
embryonic development that gives rise to
organs and
tissues associated with
digestion and
respiration. Also, the inner
tissue layer in þatworms.

The innermost of the three primary germ layers in
animal embryos; lines the
archenteron and gives rise to the
liver,
pancreas,
lungs, and the lining of the digestive tract.
Full article >>>endoderm - One of the three primary germ layers formed in the
embryo, moved into interior by
cell movements during
gastrulation.
Full article >>>endodermis Innermost layer of the root
cortex surrounding the
stele; many of the
endodermal
cells have Casparian strips.
endodyogeny Same as endopolyogeny except that only two
daughter cells are formed.

blastocyst develops three germ layers, the
endoderm, the exoderm and the

cells of the body and there are three major
lineages that are important-the
